About Tara

Tara received her degree in French and Communications before jetting off to serve Cameroon for 2 years with the Peace Corps. She has forever since been inspired to serve in humanitarian projects around the world. She's a writer, tour guide, business owner, property manager, wifey, dog mom, and traveler. Tara lives in Dallas, Texas, where she's happily married to the tech genius who keeps her website pretty.

  1. Sounds like the birthday party was a huge success. I think your friends should have a party for you if whether you are stateside or in Africa. Would like me to send you some cake mix? Some canned frosting?

    Did you ever get your box that Janice sent you? What do you need in the next box I send? Is there anything you need or is it better to just put money in your account and let you try to find it there?

    I hope you realize that you are making a difference in the lives of the people there. Try not to run out of patience with them. They are suffering, and even if you can’t do anything to help the condition they are in, sometimes just doing the person the honor of listening and empathizing is as healing as you be. Be compassionate.
